We’ve had the same furniture in this home for over 20 years, then we raised all of our kids on this truly couch, then i assume it’s finally time to replace most, if not all of the furniture though, over the years it has gotten truly worn down, scratched, and outdated.
I cannot remember how several couch covers this sofa set has gone through.
When my partner and I finally decided to start looking for new furniture, my wonderful friend and I were surprised to find how cheaply most new furniture is constructed. It’s all particle board. We are used to oak wood and cherry wood furniture! Even the sofa has an oak wood frame. That’s honestly why it has lasted two decades. We went to numerous furniture stores however none of them had furniture made out of natural wood! Finally my wonderful friend and I stumbled upon a store that sells custom built furniture. We knew my wonderful friend and I were in the right locale as soon as my wonderful friend and I walked in and saw the wooden tables and leather couches with real oak frames, however now my wonderful friend and I just have to occasion out the category of furniture my wonderful friend and I want for our house. I want something that will look wonderful for another 20 years, at least, but after all, that has how long I expect natural wood furniture to last. I honestly like the rustic meets traditional look myself. It looks new however it looks outdated at the same time, then my partner, on the other hand, does not honestly enjoy the category at all, but he wants to mix and match the unusual styles to get a better price… But he honestly won’t be saving that much by buying the on sale furniture. Besides, this custom made furniture is going to last us a long time so my wonderful friend and I had better love it.
