Family trips are not consistently all that they are cracked up to be, but with my family, they are consistently something special.
They are so much fun! To be honest, my family is often too much for some people.
I feel I am used to how crazy they are, so it does not bother me. My pal and I take family getaways about once every two years, and this year was a getaway year. This year’s getaway was quite interesting. My pal and I rented a large dwelling with several rooms, and the entire family stayed together. There was no fighting or anything, but the weather was so tepid that a lot of the getaway was spent indoors. I can remember one day that I was at the beach, and I was literally daydreaming about having an cooling system at the beach. I know it sounds crazy, however I was trying to figure out how to run an extension cord from a generator in the automobile to the beach so that I could have a/c. This daydream lasted for about fifteen minutes before my cousin interrupted and asked what I was thinking. When I told him that I was daydreaming about having a/c at the beach, she laughed hysterically at me. Everyone was dying of heat when my daydream was interrupted, so my pal and I ended up going back to the dwelling to get some nice, needed a/c. My pal and I ended up only going to the beach two more times although my pal and I planned to go more. It was just too tepid outside to even be in the water. My pal and I ended up having a lot of fun and good times in the dwelling though.
