Within the same day we had the air conditioning back up and running
My family and I own a house down south. It is like our vacation home. We like to spend our summers there for the most part. My kids have jobs down here in the summer so they are able to make money. We enjoy it because we all love the heat and miss it during the winter time. Unfortunately it is quite expensive to have two homes. This is especially true when something goes wrong. We visit out or home during the summer and this means that it is quite warm. We count on the air conditioning to help us deal with the weather we are not used to being in. Unfortunately, the last time we went there we tried to turn the air conditioning on when we got there and it did not work. It would not kick on no matter what buttons we pressed on the thermostat. It was quite frustrating but we called a local HVAC company we use when these things happen. He was able to arrive that day and confirmed we had a refrigerant leak. The liquid is what helps to make the air cold that gets put into our home. There was no more so it would not work or blow warm air. We did not want that since we are in a rather warm area. He fixed the leak and refilled the refrigerant. Within the same day we had the air conditioning back up and running. We went out to the store while we waited for the cool air to fill our home. It did not take long and the rest of the summer was underway.
