My town recently experienced the coldest day my friend and I have had in over 2 years, however with temperatures in the low 30s, everyone was losing their minds, not to mention that most of the people that live here have never experienced temperatures this low, however it is likely that several of them did not even have the appropriate outerwear for such frigid temperatures! Another problem the community faced was that several of the older homes were not equipped with correct heaters… There are only a few locales in this region that have the expertise to repair a heater.

When people found out that the temperatures were soon to plummet, they all ran tests on to make sure that their heaters were modern and in laboring order. The few people in the section who knew how to repair boiler were harshly busy for the past few mornings, then i did not know that one night of frigid temperatures would have such an effect on the internal temperature of my house. I was wrong about that. Around midnight, my apartment was 50 degrees inside. I decided I would turn the space boiler on in my study room while I slept. I know that this is a dangerous thing to do, but I did not have a choice. My apartment was not well insulated nor do I have central heating or cooling. I was able to survive for one night with the space heater, and the next night the temperatures were back to a comfortable temperature.
