My sibling & I are genuinely different; He is the sort of person who prefers to do things for himself & he rarely hires experts for any job; This is a habit he adopted from our Grandfather who was the OG for repairs & updatements… I remember when we’d go to visit Grandma & Grandfather as teenagers, they regularly had a project going on, and grandfather would be busy fixing the car, the tractor, or the barn.
He even did all the fencing around the farm, & my pal and I were so ecstatic to help.
I think my Grandfather & my sibling are quite similar, & they even look alike. He adopted some of these traits & is regularly busy around his house fixing stuff. If I happen to mention I want to contact a plumber to come do some toil in my house, I’ll see him at my door ready to tackle the issue. This has been going on for years, however there are some things I never let him touch. These are jobs better left to the professionals so they can be done in the right way, for instance, last Spring I had to get a new roof installed in my house. This was a long overdue project that I had been saving for so I wanted the roofing upgrade done the right way. I contacted a HVAC supplier in my section after reading good reviews about them, & they sent roofing businesss to begin the roofing removal process, but after that, it took them many more afternoons to do roofing upgrade, & I was so ecstatic with the results. My sibling was livid when I finally told him I hired the roofing supplier for the job.
