I knew he wouldn’t be able to perform HVAC maintenance on the system before he left, what with the trip and his schedule being full for the next few of afternoons. When my friend and I talked later that evening, I brought up his broken HVAC system, but he claimed he’d take care of it when he got back since he didn’t trust anybody else with his high-end system. Changing the air filters was the most I could do to help, and even that wouldn’t be much use. If I needed more, I simply contacted a nearby vendor.
