Have you ever given a washable air filter try? I have, and at first I wasn’t going to give it a watchful eye, but ultimately decided to because I wanted to go and try something unusual after using disposable air filters all my life in our heating and a/c unit. In our circle of people, washable air filters were all people were talking about. Three people were spreading around a life hack by saying that it was much easier to use a washable air filter than to use a disposable air filter. I thought about it as well and I was wondering if using a washable air filter was worth the price, or would it be cheaper to continue to buy the disposable air filters? There’s only one way to find out and so I went down to our local heating and AC company to compare some prices. What I found was that the washable air filters were a little bit more pricey, however this was no issue because they were reusable. I decided that I would go ahead and give it a try, so I picked one up at the local heating and cooling business. I put it in there and then a few months later it got dirty, so I realized it was time to scrub it. I was kind of concerned about cleaning, but it ended up being far easier than I expected it to be. All I had to do was take a vacuum cleaner suck all the dirt out of it and it was as good as new, then I put it back in, as it was reusable. These are great and I want to continue using these instead of our disposable air filters.
