With no A/C, the inside of his vehicle honestly started to heat up.
Isaac didn’t think much of it when the A/C in his vehicle gave out on him last week. He knew that he did not have the money to put forth to fix it quite yet, but Isaac is a hardy individual. So, he figured that he could make it for a couple weeks without it. That being said, it is early September, and this is a warm and humid temperature, to be sure. Morning commutes were not terrible. Isaac just cracked the windows. Part of why it wasn’t so disappointing is that he goes to work when the sun still has not quite come up, so it’s a little cooler than it would be otherwise. Coming home during rush hour was another issue, and yesterday was overcast and windy. There was some rain, but not so much to dissuade Isaac from cracking the windows for air. However, this week, he was honestly missing his A/C on the drive home from work. As long as his vehicle is moving, at least Isaac has the blowing air for air circulation. Wouldn’t you know it though, he got stuck in traffic because of a major accident. This accident stalled the traffic and eventually stopped for one hour. Isaac kept time from the moment the vehicle basically came to a standstill, so he knew how long he was there crawling along. With no A/C, the inside of his vehicle honestly started to heat up. The control component read 98° outside! Isaac did not have a water bottle or anything, so he was starting to get a little nervous. Leaving the windows open gave precious little relief, but the fumes from the exhaust of the cars and trucks around him made it quite uncomfortable. He was so cheerful when traffic started moving again, but he was seriously dripping with sweat and dehydrated. Isaac shall be getting his A/C fixed ASAP!
