Guest room has its own space heater

A few months ago, my husband bought a space heater.

  • Although our furnace system works just fine, we both thought that it would be a great idea to have a heating back up, in case something ever happens to our main heating method.

However, neither of us realized how popular the heating device was going to be in our house. Our kids went crazy over the heating machine. I have never seen kids interested in HVAC equipment before, but ours were. Unfortunately, the peace was short lived and the fighting kicked in. The kids started arguing about who gets the space furnace. For a while, we tried to let the kids each have the heater in their room for brief amounts of time, but that didn’t stop the fighting. So my husband and I sat down to talk. Usually we would just get rid of whatever was causing the fighting, but neither of us wanted to get rid of the area heater. So that is when we decided to move the heater to the guest room. The guest room has always been a bit on the chilly side, and it would be incredibly nice for guests to have their own heating device. We don’t have guests over all that often, but it would definitely make a nice touch to the room, and so that is what we decided to do. This stopped the fighting, but now we have the kids asking for us to buy them each a heating unit.
