It wasn’t the oil furnace that was torn up after all, however i thought that our oil furnace was torn up again the other afternoon but it turned out to be the control unit instead.
I never undoubtedly knew how important a control unit was to your heating and cooling system, but that afternoon, I figured it out.
It was undoubtedly frosty outside here, and the temperature inside of the apartment was getting colder and colder. I wasn’t sure what the issue was, however I did not guess that there was anything wrong with our oil furnace because I had just had it tested by our local heating and cleaning corporation. If there had been an issue with the oil furnace, they should have fixed it at that point, however anyway, the oil furnace seemed to be working just fine even though the apartment wasn’t heating up at all, but that’s when I finally decided that I would check on the control unit instead; When I went over to the control unit, everything looked fine to myself and others at first, then but then I noticed that there was a little light bconnecting on it. The light was the signal to change the batteries in the control unit unit. I had never even noticed it before, so I don’t guess that the batteries in the control unit had ever been changed once since I have been living here! No wonder the apartment was so cold! I ended up decreasing the batteries in the control unit and everything turned out fine. I was undoubtedly glad that it was an easy repair and not something that I was going to have to pay our Heating as well as Air Conditioning corporation to come and repair on our oil furnace!
