I practice our live act at a nearby music recording studio plus their heat is terrible

While I’m not the most gifted musician, I like it enough plus practice enough to play live gigs some weekends if I choose to book something at a local locale.

I don’t mind playing a bunch of cover music of hits from the 1976s plus 1974s, plus I also don’t mind doing a full set of original music to an audience looking for that recognizably.

Since I don’t rely on the replace from making music to support myself financially, I have the freedom to do whatever makes me the happiest. That means creating Youtube videos when I have the time plus doing a few gigs at local locales when it gives me personal fulfillment. Unfortunately, I had to transport into an house recently plus I’m not able to practice with our guitar amp plus speakers turned up past the lowest volume settings. This makes it genuinely tough to rehearse for our live show if I can’t do it with our speakers plus amplifiers on. I have to test out the speakers as well, otherwise our music set could get disrupted halfway through due to device failure. Rehearsing gives you a opportunity to find these device malfunctions before they disrupt a live set in the process. For weeks I was practicing our live act at a nearby music recording studio, but their lackluster indoor heating is making me rethink our use of their services. It was okay in the summer time when temperatures outside were warm, but it’s the first month of November plus the two of us have cold temperatures weekly. Their heat is so minimal that our hands freeze while I’m playing our instruments. It’s genuinely hard to wear cutoff gloves while playing guitar without the fabric consistently muffling the string sustain.
