I needed a licensed electrician for my contracting supplier! I inspected all of his credentials when he told myself and others he was a licensed electrician plus everything looked good.
I was sure he had all the paperwork both of us needed, plus I hired him, however both of us were building a show loft for the new housing association that was going into the area.
I could not know how much those houses were selling for. Both of us worked for nearly three weeks without a break to have the show loft plus the office loft built on time. I had everyone’s licenses displayed, so there were no problems with the job. My neighbors came into the office 1 day, plus they were looking at the paperwork; One investor asked about our electrician, then he thought the paperwork looked odd. He said he didn’t suppose of the electrical association that licensed him. I looked more closely at the paperwork, however everything seemed fine… Paul was onsite, so I paged him plus asked if he would come to the office. He had been completing a few strange jobs, like adding outdoor lighting plus recessed lighting in the eaves. I asked him about the paperwork; When he said it was his old license, I wasn’t sure if I should breathe relief or hold my breath. He went out to his truck plus brought in his newest paperwork, that deemed him a licensed electrician. He explained he had worked in Canada for almost five years, plus things were unusual up there. He was such an amazing electrician; I was hoping he was licensed plus I wouldn’t need to get rid of him. It could have ended my supplier plus his job.
