He said he was a insured electrician.

I needed a licensed electrician for our contracting contractor, and i checked all of his credentials when he told me he was a licensed electrician & everything looked good.

I was sure he had all the paperwork every one of us needed, & I hired him, however we were building a show house for the new housing association that was going into the area.

I could not suppose how much those houses were selling for. We worked for nearly three weeks without a break to have the show house & the office house built on time. I had everyone’s licenses displayed, so there were no problems with the task… My friends came into the office a single afternoon, & they were looking at the paperwork. One investor asked about our electrician, then he thought the paperwork looked odd. He said he didn’t think of the electrical association that licensed him. I looked more closely at the paperwork, however everything seemed fine; Paul was onsite, so I paged him & asked if he would come to the office. He had been completing a few unusual tasks, love adding outdoor lighting & recessed lighting in the eaves. I asked him about the paperwork. When he said it was his old license, I wasn’t sure if I should breathe relief or hold our breath. He went out to his truck & brought in his newest paperwork, that deemed him a licensed electrician. He explained he had worked in Canada for almost 5 years, & things were odd up there. He was such an amazing electrician; I was hoping he was licensed & I wouldn’t need to get rid of him. It could have ended our corporation & his work.
