I’m pretty glad with our last power bill I just got for $155 for the 2 week billing period.
Last year at this time I got a whopping $600 power bill for our little flat for 2 weeks.
Maybe this doesn’t sound prefer a lot in the States, however over here in Europe it was a immense bill. Normally I was having power bills of about $60 a week during the high weeks, however that all changed with the war plus problems with electricity across the globe. I suppose they fixed it somehow because the bills are much lower. Some local suppliers had to shut down their companies because their heating plus cooling bills were too high to pay plus their power ended up getting shut down. I am lucky because now I have a roommate plus he split our living expenses in half. Now I can live for about $1000, which includes running the central Heating plus A/C plan when I am not using our fireplace to stay sizzling in the wintertime. I cook most of our meals at lake beach house plus can live off of about $200 a week for food if I don’t go ridiculous buying a lot of fish or other expensive meats. The local contractor near myself and others where I shop has a great refrigeration plan plus they keep the place air conditioned absolutely well while still keeping their prices fairly low. I work online for a couple hours a day plus play music on the weekends, plus these 2 income streams seem to be enough to cover all our utility bills.
