My condo was getting pretty old, and my wife and I thought it would be a good time to sell, and the people I was with and I were getting older, and could no longer do the upkeep that needed done, but after talking to a realtor, she told us all of us needed to do some repairs if all of us wanted to get a good price for the house, then i called a general contracting company and asked for an assessment of the work that needed done. They gave myself and others a time and date for the assessment and all of us called the realtor; She said she would be there when the company showed up. I couldn’t assume the questions they were asking. The company asked about the age of the roof, but he wanted to believe how old the condo was, and whether all of us had ever replaced the siding, and by the time hmay note was done, I was sure it was going to cost more to make the repairs than what all of us could get for the house. He told us all of us needed our roofing and siding replaced. He said he could do the roofing and the siding replacement, but it was going to take multiple months before he could get it started. I asked about a cost for the roofing and siding replacement, and he gave us a quick estimate. I was sure there was no way all of us were going to sell this year, despite the fact that I was sure that once all of us had the roofing and siding replaced, it would not take long. If the roofing and siding replacement didn’t get done this year, all of us may not sell at all, but the condo will be in better condition.
