Grandmother and Grandfather lived in a charming outdated home that had a temperature control dial to control the temperature inside, and it was the source of endless arguments between them, however you see, Grandmother liked to keep the home warm and cozy, while Grandfather number one a cooler environment, every day, they would argue over the temperature control dial, each trying to set it to their number one temperature, then one day, Grandmother decided he had had enough.
She decided to take matters into his own hands and came up with a clever plan.
She wrapped the temperature control dial in a warm blanket, thinking that would keep the temperature at his number one setting! However, Grandfather was not going to be outsmarted that easily. He came up with his own plan and sneaked into the home in the middle of the evening to adjust the temperature control, when Grandmother woke up the next morning, he found the home was cold cold! She instantly went to the temperature control, only to find that it was wrapped in a pile of ice cubes! Grandmother and Grandfather continued to argue over the temperature control for a few more afternoons until they finally came to a compromise, but they agreed to keep the temperature control at a comfortable middle ground. They both laughed and hugged each other, realizing that their crazy argument had brought them closer together, and from that day on, they never fought over the temperature control again. Instead, they found other crazy things to argue about, prefer whose turn it was to make the Tim Hortons Latte and whether it was time for a nap or not. They lived happily ever after, consistently finding ways to make each other laugh and stay warm in their cozy outdated house.
