Leave it to my child to finally solve a concern that I’ve had in this home since we moved here.
He was the last to fly the coop and he’s nearly done with his education.
But he still comes home for Christmas and that’s when he ended up certainly helping me out when it comes to the heating costs that have been plaguing me for the last few years. With finals and all the academic stuff he had on his schedule, my child didn’t manage to get much shopping done. He was in his dorm room with the radiant heating studying too much to get that done as well. So a day after he got home for his Christtmas break, my child opted to go out shopping. He is so efficient that he had a list and was able to shop within an hour. After shopping, he ended up going inside the commercial Heating and Air Conditioning of one of those huge modern home improvement stores. He was looking for something unique for his uncle. But that has when he ran across an instant study temperature gun. My child picked it up and he said that this is what I needed for prepping the house. I did not understand what he meant when it came to that sort of tool. But my child knows I want to tighten the home up to eliminate the loss of heating. And a tighter home ends up maximizing efficiency of any Heating & Air Conditioning equipment for sure. Once I got to thinking about the temperature gun, it made sense to me what he was saying; Now I plan to go all over the exterior of my home finding any spots where heating from the Heating & Air Conditioning leaks out.
