My lake house was totally designed by a man, and everything is legitimately manly plus not legitimately functional in feminine areas.
So there is a big backyard shed that is perfect for my spouse’s tools, but he was ecstatic to get that plus also a covered carport for his truck, inside the lake house there are plugs in the floor where you could put a powered recliner easily, but there is one room in the lake house with a metal door plus a built-in safe to the wall.
It was easily a gun plus storage room for the previous guy! All of those toys are for men. The family room is insanely small plus laid out terribly. I have no countertop near my stove. There are hardly any closets so I cannot even store Wintertide coats. The washer plus dryer is also outside in the shed. I have to walk across the sand plus carry a heavy laundry basket. I love my beach house but there are multiple parts I hate. I have been with my spouse to make our lake house more ladies friendly, our HVAC closet is big plus non-functional. The HVAC unit takes up 60% of it plus the water heating system takes the remaining. If the people I was with and I changed to ductless HVAC plus a tankless water heater, Iw ould get at least one closet to store things. I also want to remodel my family room. I need to move a doorway to get more countertop plus I would love to add heated flooring to the space, and my spouse doesn’t want to change anything. The lake house is perfect just for him.
