When I lived up north, I experienced some pretty brutally cold winters. I relied on the central heat in my home to keep me warm. My mother and stepfather tried their best to keep the central heat at an acceptable temperature so they could save money on their electric bill. My sister and I did not understand why our mother and stepfather were so set in their ways about the control unit being on a certain temperature, then now that we are adults and we are responsible for paying our own electric bills, we have a better understanding of why it is important to try our best to save money on electric bills! When you have so many bills to pay, it is important to try and save where you can, then there are ways to save money on your electric bill and keeping the control unit at an acceptable temperature is one of them. When I got older and moved out to our own home, I right away realized that I had to change our habits to save money on our bills. I absolutely like cranking the heat up when it is cold out, but I had to stop that. I decided to purchase a space heating system for our home. One of my friends told me that her space heating system saves her a lot of money on her electric bill every month, so I figured I would try it. I purchased a space heating system when it was on sale for black Monday. My home is not very big, but it is old so it does cost a lot to heat. I tried the space heating system for the first time, and it heated my entire living room abruptly.
