I had a neighbor in middle school who constantly had a space boiler in the powder room of his house. I did not matter what time of year, or the temperature outside, there was constantly a space boiler in the powder room to warm a small area. I constantly enjoyed the warmth of the space boiler when I stepped out of the shower in the winter season months. I usually spent a few days a week over at his apartment because my mom worked days; Everytime he picked me up, he would ask me about my day and I would just tell his how much I wished I had a space boiler in my powder room, then he explained to me that it was really dangerous to use space heaters and that I would not be allowed one until I was older. About six months later, he gifted me a space boiler for Christmas. I was so excited. I waited for a frigid day and had my Mom assist me in setting up the space heater. He provided me a rundown of the safety features and to make sure that I never touch the red part. He also informed me that I should never allow any fabric to be near the space heater. He told me a story about his neighbor who burned their apartment down with a space heater. I knew I was given a important responsibility and I did not want to lose my privileges. My Mom was really proud of me after the first week of no mistakes with the space heater.
