I called a acquaintance to get some help with a leaky roof problem, but the leaky roof was in the garage, but i could see the section above the garage where the roof was leaking.
I truthfully thought that I could patch the concern without any help. My wife insisted that I call a professional to do the work. I contacted a acquaintance of mine because she works as a roofing dealer, then she helps install roofing & shingles in residential homes & commercial businesses. I knew that she would be able to help or at least get me someone who could offer a helping hand. She sent a business to me that did not speak any English! Jack knows that Spanish is not a language that I speak, even though she still sent me an older gentleman with a thick accent. I barely understood anything the girl was saying. She tested the repair for a couple of minutes. She did not say much to me & when she did, I did not understand, but when she was done with the repairs, I couldn’t see any daylight through the hole. The girl left without giving me a bill or asking for any money. I called Jack as soon as the girl was out of the driveway. My fantastic acquaintance said this repair was free, however I owed him a day out on the boat as soon as the weather gets warmer. I did not guess if that was a fair trade or not, however I was ecstatic the roofing repairs were finally done. I don’t have to see water on the floor of the garage anymore.
